Who I am.
My name is Quinn King and I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Fashion Merchandising degree with a minor in Marketing Insights. I was a dedicated student graduating on the dean’s list each of my 3 years at VCU as well as finishing my time at VCU with a 3.95 GPA. I have been focused and passionate about the fashion industry since I was a child and have focused and studied the culture ever since then. I have developed a strong interest in making fashion accessible to all people. I want to create quality goods and services for any consumer of any place or status. I hope to be in a place to create savings that can be passed to the consumer through areas like inventory management, forecast accuracy, and analyzing supply chain performance and data to find better and more efficient methods. I am a quick learner and have exposure to and performed well in the systems, environments, and problems of this portion of the industry.

My Why
My oldest passion in life is sports, I have loved and played them since I was a child and they lead me to build my strongest passion of fashion. When I was 7 years old I started playing basketball and took my saved up money and went and purchased my first pair of basketball shoes. This led to my love of shoes and started to build my values as well. I loved getting a new pair of shoes for every season but had to scrounge up the money to buy another pair of $150+ pairs of shoes. This is the reason I want to work in the area I do, I was always focused on ways I could potentially save up for the next pair I got. I want to change this cycle by providing high quality and good looking designs at a price that is accessible to every demographic.
